The Complete Life

What does a complete life look like? Jesus describes it in Matthew 13:23, “But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the Word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” This is the picture of the Christians who receive the Word, take it into their lives and produce fruit. This is what God wants to do in all of our lives.

God tells us that if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can do great things. Small faith can move mountains. It’s not the amount of your faith that is important, don’t pray for more faith. Take the little faith you have and place it in a great big God. It’s not the amount of your faith that matters but the object of your faith.

With just a little faith in a big God, the church can do great things. Folks, there are a lot of good organizations out there that need your support and you should give to them. But there is only one organization that can change the world and it is the church, the Body and Bride of Christ. We are His hands, His feet, and His voice. We are His only plan to heal this hurting world. When people see the church living the way Jesus Christ did, we will see a changed world. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
