How would you rate your ability to wait? Do you wait patiently during delays?  I don’t often wait patiently. Sometimes, I don’t wait patiently at all. Maybe you’re waiting on God to fix a situation. Maybe you’re waiting on God to change your marriage. Maybe you’re waiting on God to change your job situation or give you that financial miracle. Maybe you’re waiting on God to solve that big problem in your life. Psalms 37:7 says, “Surrender yourself to the Lord and wait patiently for Him.”

Did you ever stop to think that while you’re waiting on God, maybe, just maybe, God is waiting on you! He’s waiting on you to trust him. He’s waiting on you to surrender. He’s waiting on you to stop complaining and griping. He wants to change your character and to teach you to wait patiently and trust Him. Surrender yourself to the Lord and wait patiently for Him. God’s timing is always perfect.

For those of you waiting on God right now, let me share this verse with you from Habukkuk 2:3. “But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient. They will not be overdue a single day.”  God won’t be one second late. His timing is always perfect. If you’re in a delay pattern right now, it is part of his heavenly plan. His timing is always perfect. He will come through at just the right time.
