God, My Provider

I have to trust God to provide for me. Matthew 6:33 says, “God will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.” That’s good news because even when God is silent in our lives, and He doesn’t explain exactly what He is doing, we know this – He is a good God, and He will always come through. Where God guides, He will provide. Some of you need to hear this because you don’t know where the provision is going to come from; you don’t know what’s going to happen next. You are going through a tough time. Sometimes, He is just waiting for us to trust Him and to thank Him in advance, but He always comes through, even when we don’t understand what’s going on in our lives. Sometimes, God allows problems so He can display His power in our lives, to build our faith and to encourage other people. Just know this. Whatever you are going through, if the Kingdom of God is within you, He’s ruling in your life, He will come through.

What is your need? Moses stood before the burning bush and God was right there. Moses said, “What is your name God? Who do I say sent me? They are going to laugh at me if I just say, ‘Hey, I’m here on my own and I tell them God sent me. God told Moses, “My name is I Am.” I didn’t understand it for a long time. I Am. What a weird name. What God was saying was, “I Am whatever you need. Moses, what do you need? Do you need strength and courage? Well, I am strength and courage. Do you need peace? I am peace. Do you need provision? Then I am provision.” What do you need in your life right now? God is the great I Am. I Am whatever you need, and He will meet that need. It’s a guarantee from God.
