From Kenya to Haiti

Pictured above – Pastor Kenol (left) from Church of Hope, Haiti, takes part in facilitator training in Maseno, Kenya.

It has always been in our strategic vision and prayer that the benefits of Farmers’ Field Schools (FFS) would extend beyond the work we began with our partners in Maseno,Kenya.

Through God directing our conversations and partnerships, we helped our Kenyan FFS partners connect with our Haitian partners to help begin agricultural development and uplift families from poverty there the way we are seeing happen in Kenya.

Last month we experienced a truly amazing occasion as a team from Haiti joined FFS facilitator training in Maseno, Kenya. The team of three, Pastor Kenol and Rachel Bernard, and Goussemann Jn Noel, visited Maseno and Kericho, Kenya, to learn about establishment and management of FFS. It is a joy to see them learning the knowledge and experience of our Kenyan partners firsthand, as they begin their journey of establishing FFS in Haiti. We praise God that this vision of more people being alleviated from food insecurity and poverty is becoming a reality all the way in Haiti

Please keep these FFS teams in your prayers as they seek to stand for the Kingdom of God in their communities and alongside their local churches.
