One of most famous philosophical atheist in the world was Dr. Antony Flew. He wrote over 40 books on atheism including the landmark book The Presumption of Atheism (1976), which has influenced most of the modern over the last 10-15 years. But in 2008, he co-wrote a book titled, “There is a God: How the World’s Most Notorious Athiest Changed His Mind.”
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalm 19:1
In an interview Dr. Flew was asked, “You have been the most famous atheist in the world and now you turn your back on a lifetime of scholarship and say you were wrong to say God doesn’t exist? Why?” He said, “I had to follow the evidence wherever it took me.” That is intellectual honesty right there. We, too, must follow the truth wherever it leads.
