At the end of your life and my life, we will stand before God, and He will ask us three questions. I want more than anything else, for you to get the final exam right. Here are the three questions. This will be on the final exam. It’s the deepest desire of my heart that every one of you get this right. The first question He is going to ask – What did you do with my Son, Jesus Christ? Did you trust Him? The second question He is going to ask is – What did you do with your one and only life? What did you do with the opportunities I gave you to make a difference in the life of others in serving? Then, the third question He is going to ask is – Did you bring anyone to Heaven with you? He’s going to ask about our opportunities. The greatest opportunity you and I have is the opportunity of serving the church. Folks, the church is the only hope for mankind. When God decided He was going to come up with a plan to change the world, He came up with Plan A, only one plan, and that’s that He would work through His body, the church. The church is the body of Christ. He doesn’t have a Plan B. It’s up to us. God says, it’s the church. We’re the body of Christ, and we’re the eyes that see hurting people. We are Christ’s feet that walk where the hurting people are. We’re Christ’s hands that reach out, and love, and share His love with hurting people. The church is the body of Christ. There is no greater opportunity. There is no greater place to serve than in the body of Christ.

It’s God’s plan to change the world. I’m just afraid that many believers are going to answer the first question right, and say, “Well, I trusted Your Son Jesus, that’s the only way to Heaven, I couldn’t make it any other way, I don’t deserve it. I’ve sinned, but I’ve trusted Christ.” They are going to be ushered into Heaven, but then when He asks the second question, what did you do with your opportunities, with your one and only life to make a difference in the lives of others? I’m afraid many believers are going to say something like, Well, God, you’ve got to understand, it’s really busy on earth right now. Things have gotten really stressful. It’s so hectic down there. I don’t know if You’ve been down there in a while, but traffic is really bad too. It’s getting tough down there. It takes you forever to get anywhere, and we had a lot of problems in our family, we had a lot of struggles, and it was just really busy. We had a lot of activities going, and I didn’t really have time to make a difference in anyone else’s live. I pretty much had to focus on my life because it’s busy down there on earth. Don’t you understand God?” Well, did you bring anyone to Heaven with you? “No, I didn’t really have time to do that, but here I am.” All of our puny excuses aren’t going to sound too good on that day as to why we didn’t use the abilities and the time and the treasure that God has blessed us with to bless somebody else, to make a difference through His church body. All those excuses are not going to sound too good.

The deepest desire of my heart is that you answer those three questions correctly. Those are the only three questions that matter. That’s it. How will these questions change your perspective each day?
