Worry is saying, “God, I don’t believe I can trust You to handle this.” We think we need to control the situation. As counter intuitive as it seems, to really win over worry, I need to shift from control to surrender.
Worry is stewing without doing. It immobilizes us with a paralysis of fear. If we are to get going, we must shift our thinking from focusing on the temporal to that which is eternal.
